Legal Counsel (m/f/d) in the field of renewable energies

YOUR TASKS

• Responsibility for the legal issues of the corporate group, with a focus on energy and corporate law
• Legal advice for our project development and construction / plant realisation divisions for large-scale projects (e.g. photovoltaics and battery storage)
• Assistance with M&A projects and due diligence reviews
• Legal support for our development and project companies
• Drafting and reviewing contracts required for the development of projects in the renewable energy sector, e.g. loan agreements, development agreements, partnership agreements, land purchase and lease agreements, etc.
• Supporting the specialist departments with issues relating to public law such as building applications, official authorisation procedures, etc.
• Assessing and minimising the company's legal risks
• Realisation of legal governance tasks
• Selecting, managing and monitoring external lawyers

YOUR COMPETENCES

• Successfully completed law studies, with successfully passed 2nd state examination an advantage
• Professional experience in project development, contract law, corporate law
• Experience with agricultural law is welcome
• An open, team-orientated personality
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Consistent and solution-orientated way of working
• Conscientious and structured work
• Enjoy working in a friendly and dynamic environment
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Good knowledge of the English language and German at proficiency level
